Our
Church and Mission
The
mission of the Catholic Church is to strive to live in
accordance with the Gospel, to love God and neighbor, and to
bring the Gospel message to everyone. We encourage the fullest
response to our Baptismal call; namely full participation in the
life of the Church, and the promotion of social justice. This
mission of Saint Rose Church is to be the Catholic community in
Belmar, bound together by faith, love, hope, learning, living
and sharing Christ's message while joyfully celebrating our
gifts from God.
Saint
Rose Today
The
Church of Saint Rose is an extraordinarily vibrant community.
Our parish is blessed with a growing congregation of
approximately 2,000 families. In addition to fostering Catholic
education through our elementary school, high school, and
religious
education program, our parish continues to grow as a faith
community as a sign of God's Kingdom here on Earth. We are
blessed with a number of important ministries, and we have plans
to develop many more to enhance our community.
